Learning and Leisure at Parnell Community Centre
Parnell Community Centre is a hub for our community, bringing people together and enabling them to live richer and fuller lives.
Our broad range of courses and activities offer people the stimulation of learning new information, ideas or skills, or simply enjoying the company of others in a relaxed and friendly setting. Our courses are guided by quality, experienced tutors, at one of two locations, the historic and iconic Jubilee Building at 545 Parnell Road, or our new Glanville Community Campus at 27 Glanville Terrace.
We offer the following :
- Classes - a wide range of courses covering culture and languages, culinary delights, ESOL, photography and technology, healthy mind and body, creative art and design, music rhythm and dance, and classes for children.
- Leisure Activities - Bridge, Mah Jong, Chess, Seniors Coffee and Chat, Walking group, Film Club, Garden Group, Scrabble, U3A Parnell, Knitting Group and Writing stories for grandchildren.
- Heritage Walks - guided walks in the historic suburbs of Parnell, Newmarket, Grafton and Epsom.
