School Holiday Programmes
During school holidays, Parnell Trust provides a wide selection of exciting programmes for children. In December each year a recreational programme is also available for children who attend schools that close in early December.
These great programmes offer
a superb way to socialise and enjoy a vast number of
activities which include play, sports, arts and crafts and
outings. The structure of each session allows children to
enjoy the activity while learning new skills and developing
new hobbies.
Parnell Trust offers:
Five Up (for children aged 5 years and over) and
Rock On (for 9 to 14 year olds). In these programmes
there is something different on offer every day, including
a variety of excursions. There is always plenty to do and no time to get bored!
In addition, every school holiday period Parnell Trust
offers extremely popular
LEGO Robotics programmes,
developed by Tufts University in Boston, and the
Business
for Kids programme created by Young Enterprise Trust,
leaders in enterprise and financial education. These multiday
and one-day special interest challenges for children
from 6 years and up are stimulating learning opportunities in which children tackle problems, develop ideas, put them into practice and emerge with a real sense of achievement.
