Our little boy has just adored the loving, secure environment at Gladstone Park. My husband and I did our research and what really appealed was the experience, maturity and wisdom imparted by the teachers. The children are treated in a very understanding manner and, at the same time, encouraged to be independent. Last week for example they were asked to bring along a vegetable. The thing that attracted me to Gladstone Park initially, and is one of its greatest assets, is the outdoor play-area. The fact that my children regularly come home sandy, muddy, wet or a combination of all three is testament to the fact that they’re spending quality time outside and loving it.
Its other major asset is its staff. I often joke that the teachers are like second mothers to my children. The centre is always filled with fun, laughter and lots of activity. But when the kids are going through a major change (like the arrival of a little brother or sister) they really take the time to nurture them through it.
