Epsom - In the Zone
Meet at corner Seccombes and Mountain Roads. Discover a hidden corner of Auckland nestled between Mt Eden and Newmarket and learn something about its residents. The walk will take in iconic buildings such as Auckland Grammar and the Mater Hospital and lead you through the leafy streets to reveal gracious homes with extensive grounds, as well as glimpses of the area's volcanic past.

Judges Bay
Rendell has been researching the history of the Judges Bay / Parnell area since 2001 for a planned book on the area. Rendell will cover historic aspects of the area including the geology, Maori and European history. Learn about the early Maori settlement and Maori hospital and where Bishop Selwyn landed in New Zealand.

Streams
and Gullies
A walk through the bush-clad gullies of Parnell, New Zealand's oldest suburb. The trail links five separate reserves including the foreshore of Hobson Bay. Approximately 70% of the walk is in bush-clad reserves with gravel paths and wooden steps, necessitating sturdy footwear, and a jacket if wet. Not suitable for prams or buggies.
