Parnell Farmers' Market is held in the car park behind the Jubilee Building - home to the Parnell Community Centre and Parnell Community Library - at 545 Parnell Road, Parnell.
Parnell Farmers' Market is fortunate to have free parking at 47-49 George Street. (Thanks to 2 Degrees for making their car park available to our customers!) It's located opposite the George Street entrance to the Foundation precinct - see our Community Centre accessibility map for directions to this car park.

"Auckland's Best Inner City Market for Foodies"
Auckland trendsetter The Denizen voted Parnell Farmers' Market Auckland's Best Inner City Market for Foodies in November 2014, saying that it's a "must-stop for those who have their finger on the pulse when it comes to all things worth devouring."
"There's good reason for why the New York Times raved about this market. A must-stop for those who have their finger on the pulse when it comes to all things worth devouring, this is one where it pays to arrive hungry. We suggest making a bee-line for the Brooklyn Dogs stall, just follow the alluring scent of barbecue bangers and choose from The Brooklyn Classic, The Ground Hog and The New Porker. (Every Saturday, 8am-12pm, Jubilee Building, 545 Parnell Road)"
New York Times travel writer, Ingrid K. Williams visited Auckland recently and included our market in her story "36 Hours in Auckland, New Zealand". After a walk through Auckland Domain, Williams writes: " When hunger strikes, stray a block from the southern edge of the park to the Parnell Farmers' Market (545 Parnell Road; parnell.org.nz), where stalls overflow with local products. Bite into a bacon-and-egg bap (sandwich) with spicy tomato sauce while listening to a musician strum a guitar, and then sample the goods at the Hakanoa Ginger Beer stand and the mouthwatering varieties at the NZ Cheeseman stall."
We had a fabulous Neighbours Day market on March 25th, with lots of shoppers including parents, grand parents and kids enjoying great food, music and entertainment for children. Our market is always a friendly place. Come and visit! In the meantime you can see more on our Facebook page
