Planning your function


1. Choose a Room

Talk to us about which rooms would work best for your function. A number of our upstairs rooms can be connected to provide additional space. See Venue Spaces for information on the Jubilee Building's room capacities by function type and a floor plan of our venue spaces.


2. Choose Equipment

Let us know what equipment you'd like for your function. Basic equipment is provided and WiFi access is free. We have a comprehensive Equipment List available in-house and we can assist you in hiring equipment from outside suppliers if needed.

3. Choose Catering

Our two professional caterers offer a wide range of menus and catering options for all meal, break time and cocktail occasions, with plenty of choices to suit all tastes, dietary needs and budgets. Self-catering is also an option. Take a look at our Catering Options.


4. Need help Marketing your event?

If your event is to be open for members of the public to attend, we can help you attract attendees through our Facebook page and notice boards. Let us know if we can help. We'll need some text describing your event, contact details and pictures or other digital graphics always help create an impact.


5. Enjoy our neighbourhood!

If you're planning a full-day or multi-day event, add a special touch by letting your attendees know what's in our neighbourhood:

  • Encourage people to take a short walk during breaks to improve creativity, or plan a walking meeting. Suggested Fresh Air Breaks nearby include a walk to the steps of Auckland Museum for great views over Auckland, a walk to Holy Trinity Cathedral for its art collection and grass labyrinth or a walk to the Domain's Sensory Garden.
  • In search of a Coffee Fix? Let us deliver cafe coffee to you, or take a walk to one of two cafés within 10 minutes of the Jubilee Building.
  • Build on your day's good vibes by getting together after your function at one of the Local Bars & Restaurants. There are several within walking distance, including Foundation on George next door in the Foundation Building.
