The Taste Farmers' Market New Zealand Awards will be announced at an invitation only dinner to be held at the Parnell Trust's Jubilee Hall on Sunday 1 July.

"Feeding our Communities" is the theme

for this year's Farmers' Market New Zealand Conference which runs Monday 2 July and Tuesday 3 July at the Jubilee Building, 545 Parnell Road. It is a celebration of the over 50 farmers' markets which thrive throughout New Zealand.

The public is invited to attend - conference session details will be published shortly.

 



Down and dirty in the city

Composting class tonight Thursday 17 May 6.00-7.30pm

Who would have thought you could get down and dirty in the city? Come to the composting workshop (run by one of the team from Create your own Eden), and get all the information you need to tick all the boxes: great use of food scraps; great for the environment; great fun - and you might even be able to grow your lettuces better.
