KidsHQ SuperMeals are frozen take-home meals, made at Parnell Early Childhood Centre each week. They're perfect for growing children, and great for adults too!

Winning four Gold Healthy Heart awards inspired The Village Square Trust to create the range of heart-healthy meals in 2015. Initially made to meet demand from busy parents of children at the Trust’s Parnell and Gladstone Park Early Childhood Centres, the take-home frozen meals were a hit.

Parents love having healthy meals their kids love to eat on hand when they don’t have the time to prepare something themselves. Now our super nutritious meals are available to the wider community, and they are proving a hit with adults too.

Our meals

Meals are available in two sizes:

  • Small (200g) for $5

  • Large (300g) for $6.50

Pick up your order from one of Three Locations in Parnell:

For the moment, KidsHQ SuperMeals doesn't make home deliveries.

You can buy KidsHQ SuperMeals directly from one of the Parnell locations listed below, during "Pick-up" hours.

We ask you to allow us two days* to get your order prepared and delivered to the location you've chosen. (That's the second day after you place your order - not counting Sunday or Public Holidays.)

    This location is only available for parents with children at the centre.

* Because we cook in small batches, your meals will be ready to collect two days after your order has been placed.

Preparing your SuperMeal is super easy!

Heating instructions for Small (200g) meal from frozen:

  1. Remove sleeve and open lid partially to vent

  2. Defrost in the microwave for 2 minutes

  3. Heat on high for 1 ½ minutes, stir and cook for a further 1 minute

  4. Allow to stand for 1 minute before serving

Heating instructions for Large (300g) meal from frozen:

  1. Remove sleeve and open lid partially to vent

  2. Defrost in the microwave for 2 minutes

  3. Heat on high for 2 minutes, stir and cook for a further 1 minute

  4. Allow to stand for 1 minute before serving

Caution: Product will be hot, handle with care. All cooking appliances vary, this is a guide only. Check food is evenly hot throughout. Do not reheat once cooled.

Environmentally friendly packaging

KidsHQ SuperMeals come freshly frozen in environmentally friendly BioCane packs. When you've served the meal, feed the pack to your worm farm or pop it in your compost.
